IMT + Great maju Garzett

If Great Maju Garzett is removed from the field using IMT, will the ATK/DEF become zero when he comes back on?

Here's why I'm thinking this: In all other cases, monsters removed from play lose all of their equipment (because there is no monster on the board anymore), the monster card slot become unoccupied (so it can be used for another monster in the interim), effects that destroy them at the end of turn are reset and not applied (such as Limiter Removal, Magical Scientist and Archfiend's Roar).

So wouldn't IMT reset Great Maju Garzett's effect as well, thus causing him to be zero?

he returns to play as a 0/0... so I wouldn't try that if I were you

He also goes to 0/0 if he's turn face-down. And if anything modifies his attack like Cat's Ear Tribe will reset him to 0. Skill Drain screws him up as well even after it's removed from the field.

especially if you have Ha Des on the field to help him out!!
