It says if no "battles" are conducted you go to the end phase of the turn.

So there is no way you can get into Main Phase 2.

Last Turn could allow you to have a Battle Phase, a Main Phase and then a Battle Phase & a Main Phase but that's an exception and that'd only work if it was used during the standby phase.

Yesssss, and no. It's not really a "Battle Phase" conducted when you use Last Turn's effect. It's actually just a simple battle conducted for the purposes of determining who will have a monster left on the field at the End Phase of the turn.

So you can activate it during the Draw Phase, Standby Phase, Main Phase 1, or wait until the actually Battle Phase has been conducted, your opponent enters Main Phase 2, and then activate it.

As was stated earlier, the only card that I know of that gives you another "Battle Phase" is Weather Report.

The effect of battling through Last Turn's effect, is through the effect only. It doesn't force a player into his/her battle phase. It's this little battle conducted between 2 monsters.

JERP ruling, Dlannan.

The effect of battling through Last Turn's effect, is through the effect only. It doesn't force a player into his/her battle phase. It's this little battle conducted between 2 monsters.

It's a separate special battle phase, with a battle step and damage step but no Main Phase.

Besides the JPN ruling, having 2 consecutive Battle Phases in a row seems odd and unlikely. It would infact be 1 whole Battle Phase.

Its like have 2 Main Phases in a row...It effectively becomes 1 whole Main Phase.

If you have 2 Battle Phases, you use a Main Phase to seperate them, and another after the second one.

<Main Phase 1>
<Battle Phase 1>
<Main Phase 2>
<Battle Phase 2>
<Main Phase 3>

That seems like the correct order, even if the UDE ruling suggest otherwise.

Then essentially each monster gets to attack twice... effectively it becomes 1 whole Phase. It doesn't seem intuitive to attack once with all your monsters, then decare the end of the first Phase, and then declare a new Phase and re-declare a whole new sets of attacks.

You should still be given a preparation Phase prior to the second Battle Phase.

The Netrep Files 6.0 states this:

"The second Battle Phase caused by the effect of "Weather Report" occurs immediately after the first one finishes."

Which is where D is getting his info from.
