iether i'm missing something or this is one of the most useless cards in the game.
TAEV-EN062 Broken Bamboo Sword

[font=Arial,]Equip Magic Card
ATK of the equipped monster is increased by 0.

now can anybody think of a use for this card?
especially a use that there isnt a card more suited for e.g ben kai allready has united we stand and axe of despair etc, and there are much better cards to kill reaper with.
it's going to irritate me if i cant find a use for it :p
give your ideas
or if there really is no use for it feel free to talk about how useless it is:p

if i remember right when reading through the spoilers for the next set gladiators assult i think i saw something that has to do with it ill go check again though

edit: theres a continuous spell card that when somethings equipted to bamboo sword and it inflicts damage to your opponents lifepoints they skip their next draw phase,

its a continuous spell that lasts 2 turns

o ok so there is a use, well that could be a bit meen, not that anyone will ever take it seriously because its a three card combo...
shame:sorry

Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu
FLIP: Select 1 Equip Spell Card from your Deck and add it to your hand.

But, you're right. I will be tricky, even with a deck built around it.

it would be fun if there was a card that made the attack of a monster 0 though:rolleyes
and the ben kai thing... my origanal post was saying is there a use that there isnt a card better suited for. e.g ben kai allready has united we stand, axe of despair, mage power, megamorph etc. and hopefully if a noob was clever enough to make a ben kai deck he would have the sense to use good equip cards:p

Along the lines of this thread....can anyone explain the use of

Gather Your Mind ....?

Other than a filler for space in a card sleeve, what's the point? No effect....

Gather your Mind came out in the same set where spell counters were introduced. It was a way to thin your deck AND build spell counters for the appropriate spell/trap cards that could take them.

However, I think that tactic went away when Toon Table of Contents came out since you could do the same thing, net a Toon Cannon Soldier at the end, and not have to wait three turns to do it all.

I'm still intrigued by the sword. I'm wondering if you could do some things with Eternal Rest or something like that.
