Kiseitai, which side?

Kiseitai becomes an equip card to the monster that attacked him and created the condition for his effect to activate. Which side of the field is Kiseitai placed when his effect is activated?

He's placed on the owner's side of the field, equipped to the attacking monster.

Owner? You mean controller. If your opponent controls your Kisetai, and it grabs in to your monster, it goes to your opponent's S/T zone.

heh.... this is still vague... who's owner? The equipped monster or the owner of Kiseitai ?

I thought Jathro's first response meant the owner of Kiseitai... now I'm confused again.

Whoever is controlling Kisetai when it is attacked is the side of the field it will go to. It will still be equipped to the monster doing the attacking.

Think of it like this. You special summon Gemini Elf with Premature Burial, and then play Creature Swap, giving it to your opponent. Premature Burial is still on your side of the field and is still equipped to your Gemini Elf, even though your opponent is controlling Gemini Elf at the time.

So just like any equip, any time you activate it, it's going into your Spell/Trap Zones. It never changes control unless otherwise indicated. As a rule, a Spell/Trap will default to your zones unless an effect is dictating otherwise.
