Last Turn Life Point Requirement

Does last turn need to meet the 1000 LP requirement during resolution or is it just activation?

It would seem to me from the 1st line of the card text the 1000 lp requirement would ONLY be for activation.

And to second that... solely at activation. You can gain life points after the activation and even go above 1000 LP and it will still resolve.
