Last Turn
Normal Trap
This card can only be activated during your opponent's turn when your Life Points are 1000 or less. Select 1 monster on your side of the field and send all other cards on the field and in their respective owners' hands to their respective Graveyards. Your opponent must then Special Summon 1 monster from his/her Deck in face-up Attack Position and attack your selected monster. Any Battle Damage from this battle is treated as 0. The player whose monster remains alone on the field at the End Phase of this turn wins the Duel. Any other case results in a DRAW.
What can I say that I already haven't said in the December ARRJ? (download it now! /plug) This card works great against Burn style decks mostly because they tend to do damage in bits and drops. That way if you have it set, you stand a good chance at being able to activate it before they can finish trying to kill you off. Plus it's a really demoralizing card as your opponent is working hard to get you down to 0, and with it you completely change the tide on them. Plus don't forget the "Two"-Turn Kill with it (2 cause since it has to be activated on your opponent's phase, they do have a chance to counter it in some fashion), "Wall of Revealing Light" + "Last Turn". (Or "Inspection" + "Last Turn", but I think "Inspection" leaves you open to having it destroyed when you are in that 1100-1500 point range.) "Jowgen the Spiritualist" is usually the preferred card to use... or you can use Jowgen's beefed up "Barry Bonds" version with "The Last Warrior from Another Planet" to lock down your opponent.
It's definately not an easy card to play, and yes there are ways for your opponent to force a Draw if not win outright (I don't even what to think about "Elephant Statue of Disaster"). Read the article for the completely breakdown on what the exact game mechanic is for this card. It's not as complicated as it seems. In the right deck, not only can you hold your own with this card, many a tournament have been won because of it's game ending power. Try it if you want a good challenge.
