Level Limit - Area B AST-092

- The best breakthrough stall card for burn/life point eating/life point recovery decks, atleast in my opinion.
- Changes position of all face up monster of Level 4 or higher to DEF mode.... how annoying is that?  :x
- The effect is continuous and the best part is that maintaining the effect of Level Limit - Area B  is FREE, no costs to maintain..... how annoying is that?  :x
- Wouldn't be that bad in any other deck besides burn/life point eating decks just incase your opponent has control of the match.
- A spell card that pretty much renders Jinzo useless for awhile, unlike Gravity Binds.
- Berserk Gorilla killer I guess.... lol
- This card pretty much.... explains itself. A definate must have in stall/burn and decks as such.

You didnt mention Horus Deck.  Horus' LV 6/8 are unaffected by Level Limit - Area B, and with Level Up!, you can get LV6 out quick and LV8 in one turn!!

Being able to conduct a Battle Phase through Swords of Revealing Light, Enemy Controller, Messenger of the Peace, Vengeful Bog Spirit, Stumbling, Scapegoat, Sebeks Blessing, etc....

So LL-AB let's you stall (usually) long enough to summon him then and proceed to wipe the field clean!

Horus LV8 is only affected by it, if it is on the field after LL-AB has already resolved.

When I said you could use Horus LV8 with LL-AB, I meant as the CONTROLLER, not the opponent.  I meant "stall" long enough to get Horus out to Level up and then kill LL-AB.  Horus LV6 can attack through all those Spells, and then you can summon LV8.

If Level Limit - Area B is played on LV8 Horus, he can negate and destroy it.  That was the "unaffected" part I was talking about.  Sorry I didnt make it clearer.  Sometimes I think faster than I type...

You can't just kill LL-AB, even if you own it.  You'd have to waste your one MST on it, or Emergency Provision it, etc.  Horus Lv 8 can't destroy it by himself since it's continuous, not to mention that even if Horus Lv 8 could destroy it himself, he would still go to defense mode first and so would be sitting in defense position on your opponent's next turn.  Def is no place for Horus Lv 8...  <hugs GK Assailant>  :D

Once again... The intent is NOT to summon Horus L8 before you destroy Level Limit - Area B. Horus LV8 is summoned in the End Phase of the turn you destroyed a monster with LV6. You have a COMPLETE Main Phase 2 to destroy Level Limit -Area B with MST, Malice Despersion, De-Spell, Heavy Storm, Giant Trunade (return to hand, not destroy).

I would hope that by presenting an idea, I would also NOT have to explain step-by-step the execution of it.

Presenting ideas clearly helps a great deal more.  You never said anything about destroying it yourself and by your original statement that lv. 6 and 8 were unaffected by LL-AB, I thought maybe you had a misunderstanding of the card.  Sorry to have offended you.  Just trying to help.  :)

No offense taken. My only point is that I could take all day and explain how to use LL-AB because I run several stall type decks, but I also didnt want to give my strategy on Horus because I know several people in my area view this site regularly. I'd rather them figure it out.

yea, this card is currently the Weapon of Choice in the BURN or STALL deck. But I do remember when it TOTALLY backfired on my opponent. He had it on the field, and he was top decking, and Level Limit was his ONLY line of defence. I had my BLSEoTB, Jinzo and both my Skilled Darks on the field, and then I drew Giant Trunade...TOOO DOOO MI DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

And if you have a stall deck and want life point dancing fairy is a card never used but now it's different. You play Level Limit - Area B andand then summon dancing fairy and she go in def position right now nice. And 1700 atk isn't to bad too

Ah, Level Area Limit-B. In my opinion I believe this is on the best spells in the game. The truth is a lot of people consider BEATDOWN a seperate category but it really is not a different category. Almost every deck has some variation in Beatdown or attacking your opponent, but with some decks like Warriors decks they act in different speeds.
That darn Level Area Limit-B, this card truely is the most ANNOYING card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG! I swear that if I ever have to see this card in a duel (like the duel I had against the head judge) I'll scream.
I HATE AND DESPISE THIS CARD WITH A PASSSION!

This thread is still.... alive? LoL :D

This thread was made like a little after the release of the Card Reviews feature of the forums. When the forum color was all white and blue and grey, hehe :)

I miss that layout.

that poses as a problem for some of us.
i can't get rid of it when i need m/t space. i prefer running 3 messengers and 1 of these rather than 2 messengers and 2 of these.
but then again, thats just me.
