Ok i'm sorry if this has been asked but i did look and couldn't find it. can I use the light hex sealed fusion with sparkman to get out shining flare wingman or w/e he is called? Thanks in advance

The effect of the Hex that special summons a fusion monster is not a fusion summon. Therefore it cannot be used to special summon monsters like Dark Paladin, nor the Elemental Hero fusions.

ok thanks but could i use a different fusion sub such as Versago the Destroyer and sub that for flame wingman and use that+ sparkman to make SFWM

Yeah, you would have to use The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion as either a subsititute for fusion material, or a Special Summon of a Fusion Monster, but it doesnt perform a Fusion Summon, and since the monster isn't properly summoned, it is not able to be reborn either.

It doesnt mention that "you can only use the above monsters", so I would say that you can use Versago the Destroyer and Sparkman.

I was just wondering given the text on "Elemental Hero Flare Wingman" regarding the fusion material monsters would it correct in assuming you can use a fusion substitute to substitute the "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" as part of the fusion?

It is possible.


Players may use "Fusion Substitute" monsters like "King of the Swamp" and "Versago the Destroyer" as a substitute for "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" for the Fusion Summon of "Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman."

For example, a player would need only "King of the Swamp," "Elemental Hero Sparkman," and "Polymerization" to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman."

Which means that you can use The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion as a substitiute for a Fusion Summon of the Light Fusion Nomis, but not it's secondary effect to Special Summon them.
