im just curious. if my opponent where to attack with a blue eyes, and i activate mirror force. could he activate gravity bind in a chain to stop his blue eyes and make mirror force fizzle?

This was debated quite heavily over in the "Sakuretsu Armor" thread.

The answer: Because the conditions for "Mirror Force" were correct upon activation, chaining "Gravity Bind" will not prevent "Mirror Force" from resolving correctly and destroying all face up attack monsters. So in your example, "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" would still be destroyed.

Also, Gravity Bind's activation "in response" to an attack does not negate the attack from being declared, it only prevents level 4 and above monsters from being able to complete their Battle Step, or proceed to Damage Step portion of the Battle Phase.

Gravity Bind is going to be fun when the 4 new RDS cards come out that prevent the activation of Trap Cards.  The question will be though, do they stop Continuous Traps already activated, like Jinzo, or just normal ones, making Compulsory Evac, Magic Cylinder, Ring of Destruction, etc., useless while they (Level 3 monsters) attack under cover of Gravity Bind...

actualy i believe those monsters dont have anything of a effect close to jinzo. they just safe themselfs from torrents and trapholes. but thats just my teory.

I believe in RDS will come out a card named "triangle x sparks", once activated this card, your opponent can't activate trap card (unless he chain one of course) and all trap cards on your opponent side of the field will be negated until the end phase of that turn.
But you can only activate "triangle x sparks" if you have a harpie lady sisters on your side of the field

You're correct. They only stop cards in the "response chain". That also stops Ring of Destruction from immediately destroying them, but that's not as useful as it seems, since your opponent can play it one chain later.
