If a monster is destroyed in Damage Step while participating in battle, what happens during damage calculation?
Example:
Player A has a face up "Gemini Elf" in ATK pos and a set "Rush Recklessly".
Player B has a face up "Spirit Reaper" in DEF pos and a set "Interdimensional Matter Transporter".
Player A attacks "Spirit Reaper" with "Gemini Elf".
Player A does not activate anything during Battle Step because of IMT.
On "Damage Step:sub-step 3: Calculate Damage", Player B activates "Rush Recklessly" and targets "Spirit Reaper" to destroy it.
What would happen on "Damage Step:sub-step 3: Calculate Damage"'s resolution? This will not cause a replay because it is in Damage Step already. Does the Battle halt because the one of the participating monster gets destroyed, or does the "Gemini Elf" get to attack directly?
