It's the Japanese for "only", as there's only one way to summon nomi monsters.woltarr said:

That is why the term is used for removing from graveyard summons and specific conditioning summons, thus nomi summons

Cards that say "This card cannot be special-summoned EXCEPT...etc" have the "Nomi" word behind them

Or in other instances the word "only".... sometimes even both if not mistaken...

Curious enough, i checked the MGF Dark Paladin and the DMG Dark Paladin images in the registry and they both have the word "Only" and my own DP which is unlimited MGF, also says "only".
Any ideas if they are errated or something, a link could prove useful, Digital Jedi.

What I mean to say is that english Nomi Monsters will always have the word "except" in thier Special Summoning restrictions text. The occurance of the word "only" does not automatically make it a Nomi Monster.
Interestingly, I clicked on the "Dark Paladin" link that appeared in your post and the Card Registry listing did not use the word "only." It used "This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon." In addition, it said that the image was not available.
