Odds of getting any of the Cyber Dragons

I want to obtain a Cyber Dragon, Power Bond, and if possible the fusions for the Cyber Dragons (Cyber Twin Dragon and Cyber End Dragon). My dilemma is that I don't know if it better for me to buy the box or several boxes (Cybernetic Revolution), or just buy the singles themselves.

Side Note: The boxes and only cards that I purchase are only UNLIMITED EDITION, so I'll wait later for Shadows of Infinity Unlimited Editions to be released. Does anyone know when the Unlimited Edition version of Shadow of Infinity will be released? Hopefully, they will have the packs be Unlimited Edition packs, like in the Elemental Energy Special Edition.

What should I do?
-3 Cyber Dragons
-Cyber Twin Dragon
-Cyber End Dragon
-Power Bond

The chances of you getting any of them is about as the same chance of you buying them on eBay for expensive prices. Unless you got a good paying job, prepare to wait for them to get reprinted whenever they do a Zane Duelist Pack and giving the state of where Cyber Dragon is on eBay I do not think Konami anticipated losing so much money on a card that they themselves are not making.

If you're lucky like me, just buy a whole box :)

I bought a CRV box when I was in Japan to participate in the YVD WCT 2005 World Championship on the GBA, and I got Cyber Dragon, Cyber Twin Dragon (both super) and Cyber End Dragon (ultra) from that same box.

The first booster I bought of the english version of CRV contained an ultimate Cyber Dragon.

But sometimes, I have very bad luck, like when I judged at the sneak preview of SOI, I got 10 boosters and got 1 super and 9 rares.

So just buy some random packs, smartest thing to do is 3 of a time from the same side of the box, because then the chance is the highest to pull at least 1 super or higher from it.

Just a few hours ago I bought a box of CRV for $85, from a local hobby store in my area. Was this a good or justified price?

In addition to that I got the following Rare Cards:

Rares: (17)

Rising Energy, Miracle Fusion, Magical Explosion, 2X System Down, Spark Blaster, Transcedant Wings, Elemental Hero Bubbleman, 2X Bubble Shuffle, D.D.M., D.D. Trap Hole, Dimension Wall, 2X Dark Catapulter, Wroughtweiler, Fire Darts

Super Rares: (5)

Cyber Dragon, Cyber Twin Dragon, Cybernetic Magician, Skycraper, Goblin Elite Force

As for the two remaining Ultra Rares, Ultimate Rare Versions of Wroughtweiler, and Dark Catapulter. Since Ultimate Rares have gold lettering on the top just like the Ultra Rares, would this mean that Ultimate Rares can or will take place of Ultra Rares?

I may have not the Power Bond, and Cyber End that I wanted, but at least I got some good cards. What should I do know to help get Unlimited edition versions of the cards I want?

Why would you want unlimited versions? For $85 that is not a good price. I know there are places for cheaper online, although from what I understand Cybernetic Revolution is out of print. Not to mention what you pull is an even bigger loss. Cyber Dragon alone could at least get you $20+ no problem. As for Ultimate Rares, do not count them as Ultra Rares. They are just Gold Lettered with 3D Holo effects on the Star Level, art, and Attribute. Most look horrible as it, some do not.

Kinda sorry to say this, but I'm not selling my Cyber Dragons. (At least not yet, I'm using all the Cyber Dragons in my 2 main decks... maybe if I get more...) And I'm NOT saying this in a offensive "making fun of you" way.

But for the record, I have

5x Cyber Dragon Super (Super 1st edition)
3x Cyber Twin Dragon (Super limited)
1x Cyber End Dragon (Ultra Limited)
2x Power Bond (Not Ultimate, 1x limited, 1x 1st)

I got 3x more Cyber Dragons and 1x Power Bond on Ebay though. (They're insanely hard to get from packs.) Cyber Twin Dragon is actually pretty cheap (Compared to insane Cyber Dragon and Cyber End Dragon prices) for a single card. Like am I the only one who likes this high Double Attacking monster? I think it's overall better then Cyber End unless it hits a Reaper.

None at all. I had 2 complete sets of:

3x Cyber Dragon
1x Cyber Twin Dragon
1x Cyber End Dragon
1x Power Bond

All 1st Edition Super Rare and Ultra Rare and both sets sold for over $200. In my opinion do not sell them otherwise prepare to spend a lot of money on them. Just because I got this much for them at the time I sold them does not mean you can. I know at least Cyber Dragon SHOULD net you $20+ without even trying. I never can understand Konami's rarity charts. Cyber Twin Dragon should have been an Ultra Rare as well. It is sometimes superior to Cyber End Dragon and only is useless against a Spirit Reaper like effect. Oh wait, is there a card that would minus 1000 ATK points to allow the monster to attack directly? Yes there is.

Well, I never actually called the Ultimate Rares, Ultra Rares. They were in place of the Ultra Rares I should have got in the box, since I did not get any Ultra Rares in my box, which was most suprising. If you can tell me where I can could buy the box for cheaper prices, including shipping, then it would be a great help. My greatest annoyance was that I did not get any Ultra Rares.

You should average only ONE ultra rare per box.

2 ultimate rares

And only 4 super rares.

I won't say that the super rare replaced the ultra rare because even if the boxes aren't as random as they should be, i still don't think its right to say a rarity should have been in there...

Well, I based it on the ratios printed on the back of my booster box and the packs. It usually says something like this:
Collect 35 Common Cards (8:1)
14 Rare Cards (1:1)
7 Super Rare Cards (1:6)
4 Ultra Rare Cards (1:24)

There is nothing here concerning Ultimate Rares, but Ultimate Rares can be from any of the Rare Cards. From those ratios I would thus conclude that you were correct about 1 Ultra Rare, and 4 Super Rares in a box, but I would not know of any other cards (or Ultimates) since the (1:1 ratio) for ratio of Rare Cards-can consist of any rare cards regardless of whether they are a foil (Rare) or holofoil.

actually there is.

its (1:12) that is the ratio for Ultm. so basically if you end up with 2 is becuase you got the box that every twelve is an ultim.

Since I ended up with 2 Ultimate Rares, your conclusion would make a lot of sense, and be logically sound. Due to the chance of getting 1 rare card in every pack, and Ultimate Rares being printed for every single rare card (foil and holofoil), that would mean that there is a chance that a person could obtain more than 2 Ultimate Rares in a hobby box, or an entire set of Ultimates for that matter.
