poison draw frog

I am going to say no only because it is an OPTIONAL effect and you miss the timing because the last thing to happen is a monster being summoned.

PDF = Poison Draw Frog

OK guys, I need lots of clarification, just so that I can be very very sure when I use this card.

Scenario 1:

MST is activated on a set Call, Call is chained to revive PDF.

Activation:
Link 1: Mystical Space Typhoon
Link 2: Call of the Haunted

Resolution:
Link 2: Call sp. summons PDF
Link 1: MST destroys Call

So since the last thing to occur was Call being destroyed by MST's effect. So does PDF, which is also destroyed at the same time get its effect?

Now, Scenario 2:

We have a PDF attached to Premature Burial. Opponent activates Heavy Storm to clear the m/t's. No chain occurs.

Activation:
Link 1: Heavy Storm
Resolution:
Link 1: Heavy Storm.

All m/t's are destroyed at the same time, including PDF which was attached to Premature Burial. Does PDF get its effect?

Scenario 3:

Sangan is tributed for Mobius, which targets Bottomless Trap Hole and a set Call of the Haunted. Both traps are activated.

Activation:
Link 1: Mobius' effect targeting the two set traps
Link 2: Bottomless Trap Hole
Link 3: Call of the Haunted special summons PDF

Resolution:
Link 3: CotH special sumons PDF
Link 2: Bottomless Trap Hole removes Mobius
Link 1: Mobius' effect destroys both traps at the same time.

Since CotH and PDF were destroyed in Link 1, does this mean PDF's effect activates?

Thanks.

I believe "Poison Draw Frog" would get it's effect for all 3 scenarios you have provided.

Should I assume, by this statement, that Premie and Call destroy monsters through a continuous-like effect that doesn't trigger and then resolve? Something's that's bothered me for a while.

Hmmm, if you want to look at it that way then probably.

Yes, that would be a correct assumption. There is no chain started when these cards destroy the monster they are attached to.
