Pumping Zombies

I am sure you are all wondering, "What the blankity-blank does 'Pumping Zombies' mean?". Well, it means that I am trying to create a steady flow of Zombies to mill my opponent. Yes, this SLOW MILL. Imagine that. See, zombies have great stall, with Spirit Reaper, the bone tower lockout, the meatshield of turtles, etc. So I thought, why not make a slow Zombie mill?

Hmm, interesting looking deck here! I like seeing Soul Absorbing Bone Tower in here. I don't know Zombies very well, but I'll give it a try.

One card you might look at in here is Cross Counter. It works better for high defense cards of course, but it might go well if you want to use Ryu Kokki / Despair from the Dark / etc as, but use them as defensive walls instead.

I would look for something besides Fake Trap as well. I understand the thinking, but there are better cards out there...maybe another Gravity Bind?

Btw, I know I have a couple of spare Book of Lifes lying around. One is 1/e original.

Just some comments and suggestions:

Ryu Kokki...........I know this is in most zombie decks but it's there for a reason, it's a good card. +2
Patrician of Darkness x2.............................-1
Vampire Lord (looking for another)................+1 or 2

Pyramid Turtle x3
Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower x3
Spirit Reaper x2
Des Lacooda x2...........................-2
Cyber Jar
...........Skull Servant x3
...........King of the Skull Servants x3

Dragged Down into the Grave x3...................-3
Spell Reproduction.........................-1
Card Destruction
Book of Life x2 (looking for another) .......good idea
Hammer Shot (looking for two more).......-1
Smashing Ground (to be replaced by Hammer) .........+2
Fissure (to be replaced by Hammer)............-1
Last Will x2...................-1
Soul Exchange
Monster Gate x2..............-1
MST
HS
Swords of Revealing Light
Premature Burial
Heart of Clear Water..............-1
Dark Hole
Different Dimension Capsule
...............Shallow Grave +2 or 3, it is a zombie deck
...............Creature Swap +2
...............Snatch Steal +1
...............Call of the Mummy +1 or 2
...............you might even consider Level Limit-Area B

Begone, Knave! x2................-1
Gravity Bind
Fake Trap
..................Waboku
..................Sakersutu Armor (?)
..................Magical Cylinder
..................Call of the Haunted

I know that some of these are in everyones deck but they do work. Skill Drain works well and I can't remember who but they are building a zombie/Last Turn deck. There are endless possiblities with zombies. The main thing with Zombies though is the need to Swarm. Gaining field presence early is what makes zombies work so well. When you can use Call of the Mummy to bring out Ryu Kokki on your first turn, it really messes up your opponents game plan. Even with Dark Hole being used again, its more advantage to the zombie since you can use Book of Life to bring them back and get rid of monsters from your opponents grave. I understand the slow mill theory, I just question its ability to handle a warrior deck with Maurading Captain and other cards like it. I hope any of this helps.

Dark Magic: Thanks, if you've read my PM, you'll know I'm looking for one more thing to add to our trade, and that Book of Life might be it.

Sirch: Ryu Kokki I tried, the thing is it has no mill power whatsoever, it just sits there on the field.
Patrician of Darkness is in the to combo with Spirit Reaper and Des Lacooda, to speed up my draw. (and I promise, I pull that off a lot)
Skull Servant: Alright, now you're on to something. That might just work. Now, I'll need three kings, and one servant in order for me to have the right cards, though.
The deck NEEDs dragged down. It lets me mill, it lets me eliminate bad hands, it lets me dump tributes, I can disrupt their combos (Marauding dies before it ever hits the field).
You'd be amazed how well Last Will and Monster Gate combo. When I have two soul-absorbers and another monster, I use the two together for a total eight cards milled, and some great field presence.
Call of the Mummy won't help, cause I have to NOT have a soul-absorber on the field.
Shallow grave... no, when I get a third Book of Life, I'll have enough swarm. Besides, it doesn't mill if Zombies are summoned face down.
Begone, Knave! is in there, because once I get soul-absorbers on the field, I like to suicide my Pyramid Turtles, which returns their monsters, and mills 12 cards.
The rest I'll consider.

wow, the zombie master likes my zombie deck. Now if only Monarch Fiend-Dillie (sp?) would praise my fiend deck, I'd feel real good right now.

I don't know if I'd call myself a Zombie Master. I just keep trying to find better ways to make them work. Dillie O is the man though when it comes to fiends. He helped me out a lot when I was building mine.

Well, you're the only person on the forums who REPEATEDLY makes zombie decks, and you were the one who used them before this new ban list, so yes, you are our resident ZOmbies Master

And I think you'll probably have noticed I have one too :)

Also, I found out how AFRAID people are of Despair from the Dark. Possibly an idea? In the 9 duels I used my Zombiedeck, it did get send 3x to the Graveyard. Quite worthfull, IMO.

yeah, I can't take credit, it's all of you guys (and gals) out there that influenced my zombies. I just love running them sooooo much. They are my addiction. And yes, Despair from the Dark has to be the most feard zombie card. You V-lords are great but for raw power of beatstick, DftD is the way to go.

I didn't say (or didn't mean) that sirch was the only one who plays zombies. I just meant he's the one with a PASSION for them. Huh?

Well, it's sorta twisted to call it a passion, anyway, Akabane (personal friend) has stuck with Zombies for a very long time, so I guess you could say he has the same "passion" for them, using "passion" loosely. I was just pointing out that one person's approval of a deck doesn't mean the deck is perfect.

Peace,

You give me too much credit for being just another passionant follower of the zombies. They're and will always be to me the greatest deck type ever made. And if I had my way i'd make it so you'd see Zombies in every top 8 event instead of something like Warriors. I've been running zombies for close to I think about 4 months now and i've still stuck with them even though it's getting tougher.
