regonal qualify info

my friend and i are in the midlde of an agument he says we need to get a sponser to participate in a regonal tounement.

For a Regional? No. That would make it darn hard to ever participate in one. The only thing I know you need a sponsor for is when you want to judge at a major event. I don't even know if they still do this now that Konami is in complete control.
