Serial Spell vs. Harpie Lady Sisters

I have too much time on my hands.

"¢ If you Tribute 1 "Gearfried the Iron Knight" to activate "Release Restraint", then chain "Serial Spell", you can Special Summon 2 "Gearfried the Swordmaster" cards from your Deck.

But, Gearfried the Swordmaster can only be summoned by Release Restraint. Serial Spell includes no text about ignoring summoning restrictions. So, does Serial Spell copy the effect's name? As in, are both the effects that Special Summon the Gearfrieds named Release Restraint, even though the cards have different names?

If so, then if you use Serial Spell to summon Harpie Lady Sisters, are the Sisters considered "properly summoned"? Can you revive them?

If you chain Serial Spell to Elegant Egotist, you can special summon two Harpie Lady Sisters as long as the condition of having one or more Harpie Lady's on the field is met. Serial Spell duplicates the effect of Elegant Egotist, much like duplicating the effect of Release Restraint. Considering that Gearfried the Swordmaster is considered to be properly summoned, I would say that the same is true for Harpie Lady Sisters.

Not exactly:
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Release Restraint". When this card is equipped with an Equip Card, destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field.
Notice the part I bolded? It's the effect of Release Restraint that Special Summons Gearfried the Swordmaster. In this case, the name of the card doesn't matter, only the effect of the card.

If so, then if you use Serial Spell to summon Harpie Lady Sisters, are the Sisters considered "properly summoned"? Can you revive them?

Same deal. It's the effect that does the Special Summoning. The name of the card is only circumstantial. In that case, HorusMaster is correct, you can summon a Harpie Lady Sister with the duplicated effect.
