Don't fear da Reaper
So here it is closing on October 1st and everyone is scurrying about to get their decks up to par. I look at the new ban list as a godsend for Zombie decks. Their ablity to swarm quickly and their overall strength make them ideal for the next few month.

Ooh pretty nice, and judging from the amount of post-ban Zombie decks being posted, it seems quite a few people agree with you about how powerful Zombies will be post ban (myself included :D ).

So anyway, you seem a bit heavy on tribute mons - I would suggest getting rid of a Ryu Kokki and a Patrician and add some more deck thinners to help speed you up in this post- Pot of Greed world, your best bets would probably be a Sangan and a Giant Rat (to search out your turtles or your Exiled Force).

For your Spells, I would suggest adding a third Book of Life (Drop either a Shallow Grave or a Call of the Mummy for it). Some other cards you may want to consider are Creature Swap, Giant Trunade, a 2nd Smashing Ground, or the soon-to-be common Lightning Vortex.

As for your traps, you simply have too many, especially since UDE and Konami saw fit to NOT restrict the also soon-to-be common Royal Decree. I would suggest moving Barrel Behind the Door and Trap of Board Eraser to the side deck, as they won't be very useful against anything but burn. I would also suggest getting rid of Curse of Royal, but I just happen to dislike that card, so if it works for you, keep on using it.

Anyway, it's a fairly solid Zombie build, although it could use a bit of tweaking here or there. Still, I get the feeling you're going to do pretty well with this deck come October 1st.

16 + 19 + 9 = 44

Side: 15
1 DNA Surgery-mess up water/insect/fire decks
1 Coffin Seller-added damage
1 Skill Drain-can cause unfair advantage
1 Snatch Steal-steal a good monster
1 Scapegoat-stall
1 Card Destruction-put zombies in the grave
1 System Down-machine killer
1 Double Snare-Jinzo killer
1 My Body as a Shield-Last Turn killer
1 Creature Swap-mess with you opponent
1 Call of the Mummy-one more in case
1 Sebek's Blessing-give me back some life
1 Heavy Storm-clear traps/spells
1 Brain Control-steal a monster for a turn
1 Shadow Ghoul-just another zombie in case.

Nice Sirch.. very nice.. How to say this... "You've got zombies and you've got zombies (rough translation, probably bad translation, form Dutch to English)". Same type, some lightyears difference on how the Decks are made. Beatdown... I see much cards to take over the monsters of opponents. I agree with Vampiric. 1 or 2 Creature Swaps could work here VERY well. Beat that Chaos and Dark Realm :p

Thanks BenjaminMS, I used your comment in english and dutch in my signature. I thought it was fitting for a zombie geek like myself.:)

No problem Sirch. If you would want to know: it means that something can have the same 'name', but that it can be totally different. (I hope I don't spoil the fun now...)

Maybe

- Shalow Grave
- 2 Dust Tornado

+ Book of Life
+ 2 Raigeki Break ( So that you can discart Zombies to the graveyard and then resurect them )

would be better.

I like The Shallow Grave for the fact it helps bring monsters back to the field face down (I'll have to look it up but I wonder if I could bring back a Spirit Reaper that way since it will be face down when it comes back onto the field).

I also like the Dust Tornados for the trap/spell removal aspect.
I did add a Book of Life (thanks for that suggestion) but I put Card Destruction in the side to bring out after the first match so I can send high level zombies to the grave so I can use The Shallow Grave, Book of Life, Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted to their fullest capabilities. I also like the Pyramid Turtles for the ability to hunt high level zombies and also Call of the Mummy so I can start fast with swarming the field. I hope that this answers any questions. Thank you DragonS for the suggestion though.

it is a pretty good deck, it is fun playtesting against it, definately doesn't need much work, but i would just leave it with 1 Vampire Lords, it works pretty good that way.
