Soul Reversal Vs. Combat

Ok... Here's the play

Opponent controls a monster of sufficient ATK power to kill a Cyber Jar

I control a Cyber Jar in face-down defense position and I have the Card "Soul Reversal" in my hand (or on the field)

My opponent attacks my Cyber Jar and it is destroyed in combat

OK... now... how does this situation resolve if I choos to activate "Soul Reversal"... I know for a fact I could put some other Flip monster on top of my deck since Quick-plays work in the battle phase
-BUT-
Since Cyber Jar was destroyed in combat could I place Cyber Jar on top of my deck before its effect starts *since it would be in the graveyard due to combat before its effect starts*

My logic behind this is Parasite Paraside... who's flip effect DOES NOT work when destroyed in combat because it is in the Graveyard at the time

A little help please...

To make it work (outside of damage calculation):

Activate Acid Trap Hole target your face-down Cyber Jar
When Acid Trap Hole resolves it will trigger Cyber Jars flip effect (But Cyber Jar has to wait until the current chain is resolving:)

Cyber Jar becomes Chain Link 1 (thanks to Acid Trap Hole it is in the graveyard when its effect activates.)
Then you may chain Soul Reversal as Chain Link 2 (or 3 if your opponent interupts)

Soul Reversal will resolve and place Cyber Jar on top of your deck,
Cyber Jar will resolve, and will special summon itself in doing so.

Just remember Soul Reversal has to be set on the field in order to activate it during your opponent's turn.
