Spell Control

The Syndicate...
Here it is. My newest creation. A lil "spell control" never hurt, now did it? After attending the SJC on Dec. 10th at San Mateo, I've noticed that spells are contributing factor to if you are going to win or lose the duel.
So the idea came to me to create a Spell Control deck. This is a rough sketch, and I'm still working out the kinks, but any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can see, either your greatest tool, or your greatest enemy infront of me...

I am speaking about Horus

However, Horus is something that is totally pushed away by Spell Canceller. Why?

Spell Canceller is a continuous effect monster, thusfore it gives you no choice.
Horus is (do I say it right?) mandatory, what means that you may use its effect. Because the decision of Spell Canceller is far easier and less complex, the effect of Spell Canceller is just a bit faster then Horus. (Also because such a continuous effect continuous applies, thusfore leaving no room for discussion (except for Divine Wrath then) ;))

I doubt this will work.

What's up with the Needle Worm, Morphing Jar, and Cyber Jar? I don't see the point, this deck doesn't seem like it'd have any field advantage. (1800 isn't a lot) Those Cyber Dragon's might win you a few, but that's just Cyber Dragon's nature. Not this deck's nature.
