Spirit reaper vs blowback/barrel dragon

Just wondering, spirit reaper's text says that its destroyed if it's targeted by a spell,trap or effect monster. So if I target it with blowback or barrel dragon and even if all 3 coins's results are tails spirit reaper is destroyed?

Your answer for this epic question is appreciated.

Yes, "Spirit Reaper" will still self-destruct even if all coin tosses are tails.

Well, I'm presuming both blowback dragon and barrel dragon are targeting. As such, it wiil not matter if you fail the coin toss. Once their effects resolve, Spirit Reaper will destroy himself with his own effect, providied he is still face-up when the chain Barrel/Blowback Dragon is in resolves.

Yeah, I presumed so. I usually look this stuff up before I answer, but this time I figured a had a 70% chance of accuracy. Their effects being so similar, I left myself some wiggle room in case the lack of "select" in Barrel Dragon's text made him "special".

"Fissure" is easier to get off. You don't have to Tribute Summon it...

on another note im curious..since blowback/barrels effect targeted the reaper and it died would blowback/barrel get another chance to use their effects?

No, because the effect resolved successfully. Even though all Tails were flipped, the effect still resolved properly.

Once the effects are activated (put on the Chain Block), they cannot be used again during the same turn. Resolution is optional with regards to the activation restriction.

The only way to "reset" the activation restriction during the same turn, would be to remove the monster from the field (or flip it face-down), and bring it back face-up somehow.

yeah, you pretty much have to Tsuku it if you want to use it's effect multiple times.
