Stall decks

Why do people get mad at stall decks when the objective is to save your life points.

Shouldn't all decks be ready to meet any situation?

Some people get fusterated when they are unable to attack, and dont understand what you are trying to do. I have no idea how an Attacking Offensive FC does because I have never seen one, I have only seen the Defensive type. Some decks do not work unless they are defensive. Playing Defensive doesnt make you any less of a duelist. Somtimes playing stall is more difficult than having an offensive deck.

Most of the Stall Decks I've contructed for the Meta in my area usually hold back my opponent for nearly the entire 40 minutes. Works great as long as I get an attack or direct damage somewhere along the line, but it HIGHLY frustrates the duelist I face since most of them are unable to deal with a "slow game".

I used to get pretty annoyed with stall-esque decks. But now, I kinda like them. In a tournament, I actually just sit back and relax for a while as I wait for my opponent to slip up and create an opening for me to exploit :) Alas, as Bigred stated, a lot of duelists have trouble maintaining the stall that well.

I don't know about you but as for me when I'm playing a stall deck....I WANT my opponent to become flustered and annoyed! Go riiiight ahead and get all hot and bothered....it just takes away from their concentration and focusing on a long term game plan to overcome the very thing that is frustrating them.

I have one allot matches in just one match because it took the who time to trying to beet my stall card.

Because of my deck they made the finals a timed event. All this did was help me not hurt me.

I have learned from building a stall deck on how to build a deck that is a beat down to beat a stall deck.

Exactly!

I play fiends. I love fiends. I've spent the last week testing the Exodia deck I built for my daughter. Talk about frustrating *myself*! All I wanted to do was ATTACK! ATTACK! ARGH! I could've written a novel in the time it took to play rounds.

But when she took the deck to play against me, I knew exactly how to knock it flying :) I didn't do it, 'cause she's only 8, but at least I know what is going on and why now.

Now to build another type of stall deck and learn how they work, so I can beat that one, too.

The biggest compliment I can get, and its happened many times is, "Man, your deck gave me a serious headache!!!!"

That is enough to tell me that I really made them work to either beat me, or get beat....
