k here goes:
lets say i have a spirit reaper face up on field and i play mystic plasma zone, will my spirit reaper be destroyed by the power boosting effect of the field card even though it does not target(or does it?)?, same with banner of courage?

The answer to your question is No, your Spirit Reaper won't be destroyed. I'm curious though, what gave you doubts to think it might be? As you stated, they aren't targeting effects.

Erm... Spirit Reaper is also destroyed by non-targeting effects that destroy EVERYTHING on the field (like Final Destiny)

That is correct, because "Spirit Reaper" is no longer face-up on the field when the card that targetted it resolves.
