What does it mean ?
I know a summon can't be chained to. Then unless there is a spell speed 3 card to prevent it, a Normal Summon is always successful.
Am I right ?

Summons cannot be chained to, so even if you use trap hole etc it is still considered a sucessful summon before the monster is destroyed.

However, there are 2 cards (that I know of) which can NEGATE summons, Royal Oppression and Horn of Heaven. In the case of these 2 cards, the summon is not successful.

Solemn Judgment also negates summoning , and any monster with an effect that says " When this monster is successfully summoned " wont activate.
