TAV Sneak Preview card

I think it has an Ultimate Offering effect to it, but can only be used on your opponent's turn. Something like that, anyway.

Nice job reading around the ad there buddy.;)

That does make sense though, seeing as how each of the Sneak Preview cards has made their particular theme much more playable. Let's face it, the Samurai wouldn't be THAT great without Grandmaster of the Six Samurai and Volcanic decks would be way too slow without Volcanic Rocket.

I wish! More like "I heard somewhere". If could remember where, I would link back to it. I think it was a Japanese site (even though it's a non-JPN card -- go figure)

Yeah, because all I can make out is "Once per turn during your" and then "500 life points." Looks like you can pull it out via Mother Grizzley though. More water support is always good... and spellcaster too.... but if it's to help a specific theme of the set.....

I'm going to guess not even during your opponent's turn, it probably just lets you have another Normal Summon at the cost of 500 life points, like a more limited form of Ultimate Offering, what with all the Dual Monsters in the set. Educated guess here though. Making it water AND spellcaster just gives it LOTS of ways to be brought out onto the field.

Y'know...if Gemini Summoner is indeed an Ultimate Offering in monster form, just think of all the applications. Gadgets anyone?

Imagine this: Special Summon Cyber Dragon, Normal Summon Gemini Summoner, pay 500, Normal Summon Gemini Summoner, pay 500, Normal Summon a Gadget, fish out another Gadget for later, go nuts. That is provided you're allowed more than one Gemini Summoner in the deck much less on the field.

The Monarchs would get a new pal to help them out too; same for Water and standard Beatdown decks. And of course, don't forget the Dual monsters. They may seem slow, but with 3 Gemini Summoners, hope so, Ultimate Offering, 3 Birthrights, Soul Resurrection (maybe), 3 Mother Grizzlys, etc...things could get interesting.

This is of course purely speculation.

From what I've been hearing

a) You can only use the effect once per turn during your opponent's battle phase
b) You can only Normal Summon a Dual-Type monster from your Hand of Graveyard.

The Normal Summon from Graveyard is an interesting mechanic since that would be the first of its kind but since it is a Normal Summon, I would presume that you would still need to Tribute accordingly. Nonetheless, it is quite useful.

Not only is that odd, it's almost, I daresay, not worth much, unless you can special summon it via Mother Grizzly, and then before your opponent ends their battle phase, you can use its effect, otherwise your opponent will most likely deal with it easy enough. The best support for it if it's this form would still seem like in a Monarch deck, as you can run Treeborn and a couple of these with Grizzlies to help get them out.

It seems rather weak, otherwise, just a bit too restrictive to be useful. Perhaps I'm just a little hopeful, since the last two sneak preview cards have been really good for their respective sets' support.

Actually, if that is the full effect (I've seen some differ) then you wouldn't be able to use the effect because you Special Summoned this turn.

Yeah, I suppose that's true because you already special summoned before playing it, so it would create a similar situation to Scapegoats and other similar cards I might imagine. That just makes it even less useful. I'm going to take it all with a grain of salt right now.
