If I have The Last Warrior From Another Planet on my side of the field, and I flip up Light of Intervention, would my opponet be able to set monsters on the field?

The Last Warrior From Another Planet
"Zombyra the Dark" + "Maryokutai" When this card is Special Summoned, destroy all monsters on your side of the field except this card. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, neither player can Normal Summon, Flip Summon or Special Summon any monster.

Light of Intervention

Monster Cards cannot be Set face-down. Monsters Set in Defense Position are Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position.

You cannot set monster in this case.

Well, if Strike Ninja somehow was out of play when The Last Warrior from Another Planet was on the field, it would come back. Same with a monster removed by Interdimensional Matter Transporter, but it would be almost impossible to summon Strike Ninja when The Last Warrior from Another Planet is on the field.
Being that Strike Ninja's effect is a Spell Speed 2 effect, you should be able to chain the effect that removes him from play to the effect of The Last Warrior from Another Planet's destruction effect. Which would mean that if either player controlled a Strike Ninja it wouldn't have to already be out of play to get around the Special Summon of The Last Warrior from Another Planet.

If my opponent has Last Warrior, why should I remove my Strike Ninja? My Strike Ninja is unaffected by its effect what.
