Have we forgotten our friend Ring of Defense? He does the set-up, you know what is coming Blasting the Ruins, followed by Life equalizer in a chain. So, he has now left himself wiht no cards and ends his turn. You draw, he activates Blasting the ruins and prepares to chain Life Equalizer and you say, "Wait!! I chain Ring of Defense from my hand." Oops! End your turn and he can't draw....beaten by his own strategy.

This deck is just screaming for a conversion to a Cyber-Stein OTK from the Side Deck. Now that would be fun to swap into :D
That's what the version I ran would use, so it's more than possible to do.

You're right! That would be HILARIOUS! still better to keep more purple heralds to stop the traps.... stop life equalizer and let blasting the ruins go lol

Fairy decks could REALLY have fun against this with the new support

But I like the Ring of Defense strategy... might as well summon a wombat if you go first lol

That'll almost will never work. If you notice his "massive spell activations" among them are Heavy Storm and multiple Giant Trunade. He pretty much leaves a blank s/t field when he sets Life and Blasting. So Purple Herald is alot safer.
