This is a for a freind of mine ok..
Raviel Lord of phantasams effect states
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 Fiend-Type monsters. Each time your opponent Normal Summons a monster(s), Special Summon 1 "Phantasm Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 1000/DEF 1000). This token cannot declare an attack. Once per turn, by Tributing 1 monster, this card gains ATK equal to that monster's original ATK, until the End Phase.
Ok now I'm wondering is can u play scapegoats to place 3 counters out and then DNA transplant to make them fiends and tribute the 3 goats for this card?? thanx!

DNA Transplant? No. That affects Attributes, not Types.

DNA Surgery however is what I think you are aiming for and yes, that will work (but not the same turn that Scapegoat is activated).

(And really, it's ok to say you want to run Raviel. There's no shame in that. You don't have to claim it was for your "friend".)

That was the question he in fact was asking. I believe the DNA Transplant he mentioned simply was the wrong card he was thinking of. And as mentioned, yes you can do that (as long it is not the turn you activated Scapegoat).

I understand that...I was just complimenting him on the idea...never really thought of that myself...

Shame, really, because it's the only one that can counter a simple Torrential Tribute/similar cards. And it could be really powerful, and has a free S/T destruction every turn.

And the last Uria deck that hit top 8 at a Regional or Jump tournament was when....? lol

Just because a card doesnt see mass play does not mean its not good, uria is pretty good card good and can end games, ive gotten beat by a weird horus uria lock deck and it was better than i thought it would be.
