Toon Goblin Attack Force

Evil Fiber Jar

Switch Blade
Toon Gemini Elf is ruled that you don't need Toon World on the field to summoned it. I am assuming that Toon Goblin Attack Force is the same way. Is this correct?

This Monster can't attack during the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned. When Toon World on the field is destroyed, this card is also destroyed. If Toon World is on your side of the field and your opponent does not control a Toon Monster, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If this card attacks, it is changed to defense position at the end of the Battle Phase, and you cannot change this battle position until the end of your next turn.

It's the same:

- the summon is a normal summon
- it doesn't need Toon World on the field for it to be summoned
- it doesn't need Toon World on the field for it to be able to attack
- but it does need Toon World on your side of the field and no Toon monsters on your opponent's side of the field to be able to attack your opponent's life points directly
- it is destroyed when Toon World on the field is destroyed
- it can't attack the turn it is summoned

That's it, the same as Toon Gemini Elf. A Type C Toon, IIRC.

azatoth-might wanna point out that even IF Toon World is in play, Toon Goblin Attack Force STILL counts as a Normal Summon ;)

also, azatoth, get some sleep, lol

I don't see any typo that would insinuate a difference between the two with regards to Toon World being destroyed.

OK, I must admit that I did work with a wrong translatio. The reason for the assumed difference was that TGE reads "When "Toon World" on the field is destroyed", and I posted TGAF's text as "If your Toon World is destroyed", and this "your Toon World", which I interpreted as "Toon World on your side of the field", really reads "When "Toon World" on the field is destroyed" like on TGE. I corrected this in my first post.

There is NO YOUR before "Toon World" in the second sentence of this card text. I know because I have this card. It says "When "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, this card is also destroyed."

Yeah, I already changed that, I'm gonna be more critical with the sources for effect texts in the future, just wanted to post a fast answer, but thanks for mentioning.

Any questions still unanswered, Evil Fiber Jar, as we spend more time on discussing my fault than on helping you? :D

when Dark Beginnings 2 comes out, more toons are in them.
Toon Cannon Soldier
Toon Masked Sorceror
Toon Table of Contents
Toon Defense

Can't wait for then to come out. My Toon deck should be Stong.
