Trap Jammer vs Waboku?

Hello

I understand the Trap Jammer can be played during the battle step to counter cards such as Sakuretsu Armor and Waboku.

However, if Waboku is activated during some other phase, such as Standby Phase, can I still use Trap Jammer against it?

Am I missing something here?

Thanks

You were right about Trap Jammer being activated during battle phase (including damage step) to counter a trap activated by your oponent.

If Waboku was activated during some other phase, then you miss the timing on activating Trap Jammer, so you can't counter Woboku with TJ.

OK If Waboku is activated in any phase other then the Battle Phase then no Trap Jammer can not negate it. This is true.

HOWEVER

Trap Jammer being a Spell Speed 3 card can indeed be activated in the Damage Step. Trap cards that can be activated in the Damage Step (Castle Walls for Example) can be countered by Trap Jammer.
