UNOFFICIAL Tag Team Rules

Greets all,

While there are PLENTY of rules surrounding tag team duels out there on the net and in card shops, this is probably the most comprehensive one I've found and was actually used at the Pastimes sitefor a while and I think this is GREAT for those that want to get up and running with some tag team dueling.

Just so we don't start any rulings wars here. Let's remember two important things here.

1) These are UNOFFICIAL. If you ever went to a judge and asked for verification on a tag team ruling, it wouldn't be anything more official.

2) I'm sure many of you have developed your own tag team rules that differ from some of the rules here. Let's not use this thread to bash this set of rules or those that play by them.

I've gone ahead and posted them to my website for the time being. If we like this enough, we might be able to get CoG to sponsor some hosting on this file since I don't know what my bandwidth limits are 8^D This file is in Adobe Acrobat format, so you will need the Adobe Reader if it is not already installed on your computer.

Oh, and mods, can you sticky this thread, I think most people will like to find this when they come in to the rules thread. Thanks!

As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, negate the effects of Spell Cards that target face-up Warrior-Type monsters on your side of the field and destroy the Spell Cards.

The PDF has that it negates Traps, just a little nitpick.

I'm so glad this rules appeared. But how many monster/spell/trap zones will have one player? Do I summon monster in the same field as my opponent? I don't get it o well.

Looks like Ceasefire will flip every face-down monster on all four quarters of the field face-up, and then any damage is dealt to one of the two opponents, as chosen by you.
