Volcanic Scattershot
Fire/Pyro - Effect/2/500/0
When this card is sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the effect of a "Blaze Accelerator" card, you can send 2 "Volcanic Scattershots" from your hand / Deck to the Graveyard to destroy all monsters your opponent controls.
I admit, I'm having serious issues here with this one... I'd love to fight this with every ounce of my being, just because of how this card is worded. The way it's worded, everytime a Volcanic Scattershot goes to the graveyard, period, it should deal 500 burn damage. That looks to be a mandatory effect to me, nowhere do I see an or before the "if this card".
Is this one of those BKSS rulings, mostly, or am I missing something within the text of it? I really, really wish it had been printed differently than what it was, or they'd change the rulings on it from what they are, because I have to ask, why does the damage not work when you use its effect with a "Blaze Accelerator" card?
Also, I'm actually honestly confused on the second portion of the card, where it says you can send 2, to destroy all monsters... is that 2 in total, or 2 more, in addition to the 1 you already sent to get the effect started? I assume as well, by that second listing in the FAQ, that the other 1 or 2 you send using this effect will get their effect of 500 burn damage activated, however?
I honestly see this card causing a lot of headaches in the near future....
