The force is strong with this one..
Trained as a Jedi Master did he..
May the force remain strong within one self.
Teach others the way of the force and stay true to the Light Side.

Ow! That hurts my neck!
Congrads Skey!!!!! I wish I could have taken the L2 test, but I was at a Sneak Preview with John, plus I still have a lot to learn.
One thing I've noticed during the sneak peak was that, the more time you spead in studying game mechanics the more you're prepared. Due to the fact I had gotten the EEN rulings LATE Friday night and hardly had enough time to read them on the way to the event made making rulings on them rather difficult.
So this is a clear cut sign that the more time spent into any one thing will give you the experience and knowledge needed to surpass others and step upon a whole new level of status amoung the community.
I suppose the reason I can judge so well online (just my opinion after all) is that I have resources to pull from as well as enough time to explain my ruling. I don't have a ton of experience judging in events since I've only judged in two Sneak Previews. So judging as often as you can in major events and working with experienced judges is an excellent chance to get the actual needed experience that you need.
Also, not only knowing the game mechanics like John mentioned help, knowing the Tournament Policies is another huge piece of information I will gladly admit that I could remember during the event. There was a Game Loss issued by David (I'm not even going to attempt to spell that username...arrrrgh...) and the Head Judge was Shawn Weeks, (Evil
Fiber Jar) while John was reading up on the EEN card rulings.
Judging isn't for everyone and neither is playing. Finding that middle ground between the two is extremely hard to do. @_@
Congrads though! I'm so jealious!!! >=(
