i was wondering since you can use two pronged attack on wildheart and not tribute a monster, i was wondering if it could work the same with horn of heaven?

I would have thought that these cards require a tribute to allow their effects to work. If you don't tribute a monster, surely the effect wouldn't actiavte because you haven't paid a cost?

The other situation, you are negating the summon of a monster by offering a monster on your side of the field as a "cost". Cost Payments are not considered an "effect". You can offer Elemental Hero Wildheart.
Selecting 2 monsters for Two-Pronged Attack is part of the effect of destroying your opponents monster, and is not a "cost".

Looking at Two-Pronged Attack, it's effect differs greatly from Horn of Heaven. Two-Pronged Attack only selects two monsters for destruction, so E-Hero Wildheart would be spared from being destroyed. Horn of Heaven on the other hand is something else, it specifically requires a monster to be tributed from the field. Now if the rules are the same as Horus Level 6, although the card is unaffected by a certain card it can still be offered as payment for cards, e,g, Level Up on Horus Lvl 6, it is tributed, so I assume the same would apply here as well for Wildheart when it is tributed to Horn of Heaven.
And in the case of selecting your Elemental Hero Wildheart when playing D.D. Trap Hole?
I guess another way to have summed it up would have been using the old standard:
"Tribute" does not equal "destroy".

well, could you negate the summoning of wild heart with Horn of Heaven? and in the same train of thought, negate his summoning with solemn judgement?

Most monsters have to be successfully summoned in order for their effects to activate.
If you negate the summon of Elemental Hero Wildheart, he can never activate his continuous effect, and since he does not gain his effect while in hand, he would be destroyed and sent to the Graveyard.

Never mind i take that back, if you read wildheart it states that it uneffected by trap cards. It doesn't say while face up like other monsters.

Yes for Horn of Heavenbut for other traps could it be the same ruling?
Unless otHerwise specified in the text of the card, or unless the effect is a condition like Elemental Mistress Doriado or the Harpie Lady 1+ cards (in which case we'd have ruling pointing that out) then a card has no effect in the hand, deck or Graveyard. Elemental Hero Wildheart is none of the above.

Once Elemental Hero Wildheart is successfully summoned (keyword being "successfully"), his continuous effect activates and he is immune to all Trap Cards that do not have a cost involved.
You can certainly "activate" Bottomless Trap Hole, but it will resolve without effect.
