But but but but but but.......... I gave a relatively similar answer to the winning one and yet it was wrong because of differing amounts of heat. So how can the winner be the winner if basicly the same answer was given before and said to be wrong?

I believe the theory Exiled had intended was that the light which had JUST been turned on would not be hot at ALL, rather than simply "less hot". I guess it depends on what kind of bulb we're talking about. He did say it only takes ten seconds to get to the other room. If you ran over there, the bulb probably wouldn't even be warm yet.

So one is hot and on.
One is hot and off.
One is cold and on.
One is cold and off.

ok, we can't use different amounts of hot. lets pretend it takes 10 seconds to get to the other side of the building.
Indeed. The time it takes to rush over to the lightbulbs would allow any light that's switched on to heat up enough for this quoted "rule" to come into play.

Actually there are a few type of bulbs that take time to light up. I have no ideal what kind they are. I just know that in are warehouse it takes the lights about 5 minutes to light up after turning them on. This may not be the bulbs at all it could be the lamps.
