Zero Gravity vs. attacks

When someone attacks and I zero gravity them changing all face up monsters battle positions do they end they're battle phase?

I ask because let's say I have a face up defense monster and they attack; they have five monsters. I activate zero gravity, and the defense monster is changed to attack did that interrupt battle phase and allow them to attack?

If so why? if not why?

"Zero Gravity" will only change the battle position of the monsters, and the attack is canceled; but the battle phase won't end because of "Zero Gravity" even all his/her monsters are in defence position.

what do you mean it wont end? If you change a battle position in your turn you progress to the next phase of your turn. If I have two monsters in attack mode and I attack; they activate zero gravity isn't there battle phase over? they can't change their position then continue to attack. They moved to main phase 2 after attacking then switching positions.

The assumption you are making would be correct if the opponent were manually making the position changes.

Gravity Release is the card that is making the opponent's monsters switch positions, a trap card will not end the battle phase unless it says that it does (like Negate Attack). The opponent's battle phase is not over unless the opponent declares it to be so, what if they had something like Final Assault Order face down? It would allow them to put all of their monsters in attack mode and perhaps attack with another monster.

Just because a card effect alters the positions of a monster during a phase, it doesn't mean that the phase is over or that they have proceeded to another phase.

lol, I know that! I know their battle phase doesn't end but just in case all of there monsters are in attack mode and they attack then I activate zero gravity (the american name). They can't continue to attack there is nothing in attack mode. That was my main point, I was just confirming. But, I see what you say too, doesn't end battle phase kinda interrupts it but doesn't end it. Might not even interrupt it, but thanx just as long as I understand.

if you really want to make things interesting chain Dark Mirror Force to Zero Gravity. That will definitely put an end to the battle phase, so to speak.

no its chain zero gravity to dark mirror force.

remember that cards have certain conditions that need to be met in order to even be activated.

also. only because you used zero gravity doesnt mean that your opponent cant activate a trap or quick play spell card that will make the monsters go back into attack position.

Unless the card specifically states that it ends the battle phase then it will do it, if no then no.

Waboku also does not make the battle phase end. (many people say it does, it does not.)

if waboku is active and opponent hase face up defense and face down defense monsters at the same time.

YOU can use Ninja grandmaster to take care of the face up defense and Sasuke Samurai or any of the Mystic Ninja Lv. to take care of the face down defense monsters.
