You can manually change the battle position of a monster on your side of the field once per turn if
- it's battle position hasn't already been changed this turn
- it wasn't summoned or set this turn
- it hasn't attacked this turn
as you can see, there's nothing preventing Player A from...
I still remember a ruling that stated you can only activate BoL when there's a Zombie in your grave and at least one monster in your opponents grave.
If one of the both targets get removed before BoL resolves, the other target is affected as USUAL.
This also makes a lot of sense with the...
This is legal.
This example is (maybe was... I haven't been there for a while xD) on the UDE at the Advanced Rulings FAQ -> Chaining.
The rule goes about this:
If you start a chain with a card which can only be activated in one special case (e. g. Mirror Force -> only as a response to an...
Someone told me - well it was actually the RULEBOOK - that if an effect has multiple triggers, it's called a multi-trigger effect.
At least for me, this ruling always made a LOT OF SENSE... ;)
Sinister:
1st Trigger: it's in your Graveyard
2nd Trigger: it's your Standby Phase
3rd Trigger: Your...
It would force a replay!
There's a ruling about Amphibious Bugroth MK-3 which can be compared to this situation (at least in my eyes):
"¢ When "Umi" is on the field, and "Amphibious Bugroth MK-3" declares a direct attack, and "Umi" is destroyed during the Battle Step, "Amphibious Bugroth MK-3"...
Germany... Franconia to be more exactly, but don't expect to find this on a card *lol*
It's a part of Bavaria, but the people here don't have a lot in common with the 'typical' Bavarian traditions...
speaking of lederhosen, boring music and stuff like that...
So I won't tell you that I'm from...
Yeah... looks like this one is kinda easy..
It's an exception to the rule...
like some other cards...
Airknight's Trigger effect, which is resolved BEFORE the 'resolve effects' part of the Damage Step
Fiber Jar's Flip-Effect, which also affects Fiber Jar, if it was destroyed in Battle before...
OK, now, that I read the IO // Mirage example for some times... *lol*
I think this is the same situation... so the Turn Player has priority, meaning he CAN resolve the effect of his card (Dark Necrofear).
If he doesn't want to resolve it at this time (which would be the wise choice... *lol*)...
That's what I told him too.
Although this Ruling is quite new to me... it makes sense...
So the Turn Player can say, he doesn't want to use his Priority
... kk.. read the rest in helpoemers post!
I trust him, he has always posted the correct answer so far!!!

There are more than one rules preventing a chain with Barrel to Wave-Motion
- Wave-Motion has a continuous effect
- It is not clear, THAT Wave-Motion WILL inflict Damage when you activate the card
- The AMOUNT of Damage is not known at the activation of Wave-Motion..
so this are THREE reasons...
Errr... yes! I meant Call of the Haunted ... of course... I think it's quite clear...because Mirror Force doesn't special summon a monster...
but I will edit it...
all this confusion here in my posts make me sick! *lol*

NO, since you can't use Barrel against continuous card effects!
You can only chain Barrel to the ACTIVATION of a card and then only, if it is definitely sure, that Barrel WILL inflict damage AND the amount of Damage has also to be known...
So you can NOT chain Barrel to the 'use' of a card...
If the rulings didn't change since ... August...
it IS possible to activate Call of the Haunted in the END STEP of the Battle Phase
-> then you have a newly special summoned monster in ATK position on the field
-> now it IS possible to go back to the Battle Step of the Battle Phase and...
Yeah... I must have gotten some kinda confused when I last read about targets.... and might have gotten something very wrong...
there's for sure a difference between specifically designating ONE target and A target...
sorry for the confusion...
but thanks a lot, you helped me a lot, cause I...
targeting or 'the card is specifically designating a target' is only true, if you can choose the monster your card will affect.
You can't do so with Smashing Ground or Fissure, the card searches its target itself.
It's not your decision, which monster will be destroyed.
Another very...
It makes no difference in the result at all...
but if the opponent chains Book, then the Marauding is FIRST put face-down and THEN the MS LV4 will come to the field...
just as somewan stated! ;)
