Can I activate Destiny Hero - Blade Master's effect during Damage Step? I assume so because its effect is a Multi-Trigger Spell Speed 2 effect that modifies ATK.
Then show me 1 (one) Mulit-Trigger effect that is NOT an Ignition Effect. Meaning you do not choose when to activate the effect (just like an Ignition Effect).Jason_C said:But Ignition and Multi-Trigger aren't exactly the same thing.
I'd say that is pretty hard to do, since that is the purpose of a Multi-Trigger Effect. It STATES that you "can" activate the effect on your opponent's turn. Can means you dont have to, so I really don't see how a M-T Effect can't be a Ignition Effect as well, as your choices (there ya go, "choice") are to activate, or not to activate the effect.skey23 said:Then show me 1 (one) Mulit-Trigger effect that is NOT an Ignition Effect. Jason_C said:I did not say you said that. :dur What I said was that you said that the definition of Ignition effect had been broadened since I last heard of it. As I recall, it is impossible for an effect to be both Multi-Trigger and Ignition. You seem to be saying it is possible. Which would suggest that the definition of "Ignition Effect" is now "Any effect which is manually activated by the card's controller". Is this correct?
Thank you, that is what I was not aware of. I had been under the impression that an Ignition Effect only referred to Spell Speed 1 manual activation effects.Ignition Effect - Any effect that requires the controller to manually activate the effect.
