Airknight vs. Big Bang Shot

Tkwiget

Da Twiggy Man!
I was wondering if Big Bang Shot would reflect the damage back at the owner of Airknight since Big Bang Shot reflects damage back at the opponent when that monster attacks one of your defense monsters. If this is true, then that's a freaking Cylinder!

i was in in thet discussion, but noone gave enough proof for me
to believe that equiping b.b.shot on opponents airknight
wouldnt screw your opponent.
also there is NO official ruling about this case.
i somehow won't settle until i see a PROPER explanation and a ruling.
(guess i'm a little stuborn :) :) )

Okay then, here is a similar question: If I equip an opponents Enraged Battle Ox with FMC, then is the effect applied both ways or would one effect resolve over the other.

Answer:

Somehow the original message met with a grusome fate.

The effect of "Enraged Battle Ox" wins. You would receive the Battle Damage.

Replace "Enraged Battle Ox" with "Airknight Parshath" and "Fairy Meteor Crush" with "Big Bang Shot" and you'll have your answer.

crud.
now 70% of decks have at least 1 Ox and 0.1% have B.B.Shot
or FMC and they decide to go in favor of a more popular card :( :(

anyway thanx for pointing out the ruling.

Yes. But the big question was whether Airknight Parshath will direct the overflow to his opponent or to his controller. I personally disagree with the ruling, as I dont see it as the same effect. Each effect affects two different players and therfore does two different things.

AGreed. Both effects may have the same wording, but each effect is controlled by a different opponent (you the Big Bang Shot, your opponent the Airknight Parshath). This affects the game in two different ways, so they should both be applied, and when Airknight attacks a weaker monster both players should get Trampled (you because of Airknight, your opponent because of your Shot).

IMO.

I agree with you in all but one respect. I feel like only one effect should be applied over the other. In this case, I feel it should be timestamp order.
