Curse of Anubis

Quick question, can Curse of Anubis be used in the damage step, or is it only quick play spell/trap cards that modify atk/def ratings be activated?

Ahhh Shin Akuma is so cheap with that Shun-goku-setsu.

Knock to the floor, then Shun-Goku-setsu, and the I lose.

How does Yun have so much priority?!?

Playing Capcom Fighting Evolution to pass up the time till we finally get the ruling for Curse of Anubis.

Well, I suppose being Shin Akuma makes a difference, I've never had him pull the Raging Demon on me, in CFE anyway, I just toasted his butt with Zangief and Alex though.
Normally all you have to do to avoid it is hold "up". Shin might have priority being a boss though, as fighting game bosses have god-like priority unless you're playing as them.

Yun's always had priority, Capcom /always/ gives the short, fast guys priority... Yun, Chun-Li, Wolverine, Spiderman, the list goes on. I mean, come on, give 'Gief some props, Capcom, he should have godly priority! The only priority I really know of him having is you can actually Spinning Pile Drive Akuma out of the Shun-Goku-Satsu. I've grabbed him before as he was coming at me in its activation. My opponent shrieked when I managed to 'accidentally' grab him out of the Instant-Hell-Murder with a Final Atomic Buster. That was too funny. I was only trying for the SPD, but got an FAB instead. It's all good.
