No it wouldn't:Quon said:would it also work on XYZ dragon cannon?
I would assume that would work, but it would be impossible to summon anything. You'd basically just have a targeting Fissure / Smashing Ground, but more situational.Maruno said:Would De-Fusion work on your opponent's Fusion Monster (on their side of the field)? It doesn't specifically say it has to be your monster.
Doesn't the monsters that were used to create this monster have to be removed from the field for it to be summoned and if so De-Fusion cannot be used on!!!Quon said:would it also work on XYZ-Dragon Cannon?
Now that would be highly strange that someone would allow De-Fusion to be used on their Dark Paladin and not use his effect.....Maruno said:Thought as much. Someone I know was asking how to defeat Dark Paladin, so I rattled off a few dozen ways, De-Fusion included.
Or they had no hand.masterwoo0 said:Now that would be highly strange that someone would allow De-Fusion to be used on their Dark Paladin and not use his effect.....
Who's to say it was your decision?masterwoo0 said:A 2900 attack monster that is hard enough to summon as it is, and you wouldnt protect it by at least keeping "one" card in hand???
I'm not sure what you were trying to say here. Plus it seems that everybody else just passed on over it..lol. If you could clear this up a bit, it would be appreciated. I have a feeling, though, that your answer lies within the rulings for "De-Fusion".barty64 said:Doesn't the monsters that were used to create this monster have to be removed from the field for it to be summoned and if so De-Fusion cannot be used on!!!
Return 1 Fusion Monster on the field to the Fusion Deck. In addition, if all the Fusion Material Monsters that were used for the Fusion Summon of that Fusion Monster are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon them all to the field
No. The material monsters in the Graveyard must have been used to Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster. Since it's your opponent's Fusion Monster, the material monsters in YOUR Graveyard most likely weren't used in the Fusion Summon of that monster.Blackscorp said:I'm confused with the a part of the card text.
Would it be possible to use De-Fusion on my opponent's Cyber Twin Dragon and if i have a pair of Cyber Dragons in my graveyard i could special summon them?
