Let's say that I have Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 on my side of the field and my opponent has a monster with an Equip Spell card that increases attack. I then attack his moster which has a higher attack than mine. Would the monster still have the increase or will go back to it's original attack power? I ask this because I'm still a little confused on Horus' effect.

Yes the equipped monster will still have the increase.

Horus' effect is specifying him directly.

Horus is unaffected by spells. However, all OTHER monsters on the field will still be affected by any spells in play. If the equip card were equipped to Horus, it would do nothing. But, in your example, it's equipped to the opponent's monster. So the ATK boost will still be there.

Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 is only NOT affected by cards that would try to affect HIM, so general cards like Dark Hole can't destroy him/won't affect him, Smashing Ground won't affect him, Messenger of Peace, Level Limit - Area B etc., and equip cards on him won't affect him.

So equips on others that affect the others will 'maybe' directly influence him, except for cards like Ring of Magnetism....

It's just that I've been using his effect wrong. Thank you all for claryifing this.
