I love the way this card looks, it glimmers with rainbow colors...you'd have to see it to really understand what it looks like, scanner doesn't see it. :( I have one for trade. ;)

Not trying to mess up Complex_Mind's trade prospects, but it being Christmas and all, I wanted to point out that somebody has them for $8.99 + $1.00 s/h on eBay. Not only that, they have 100% feedback:

I think that's a more than reasonable price tag, and wanted to share with my fellow coggers on this holiday eve....

(There were 10 a couple minutes ago ... check the purchase history! LOL)

A lot of hobby shop owners tend to not give them away as prizes and just keep them to sell. But I didn't plan on selling it or trading it for too much. :p I may wait a few days for all the ebay stuff to go down, then the price will be up. Because none will be left.

That is pretty sweet looking. I saw a few parallel rare Cyber Jars at the Butler, PA regional. So smooth and glossy.

mmmmm.... shiny [/Homer Simpson]

And then they tend to lie about it to piss off the educated players who really know what's going on. But I'm not pointing the finger at anyone.

++++++(card shop name edited out)+++++++

Maybe just one..........

What made me mad is they flat out lied. I asked how the store owner had 20+ Cyber Jars, and he told me he bought out a collection from a player. Now the same thing happened with the MSTs. Possible reason to boycott?

Someone who's name must no-longer be mentioned....

I think UDE really needs to have tighter controls on distribution by anyone they issue any form of prize support to, I'm pretty sure this is the only reason they gave up on the whole you're not supposed to sell TP packs thing, they weren't willing to make the necessary efforts to try track down who was selling and subject them to some sort of punishment in terms of future prize support.

We boycotted the shop when playoffs weren't matches.
We boycotted the shop when entry was 5 dollars (2 packs for prize)

Don't enter their tournaments and tell them your demands. And if they lose money, they'll fix things. But if you do it alone, no one will notice. :p

Sometimes that's not much of an option, in Ireland I think there's a grand total of 4 people who run tournaments:
Jim Brophy (James) - main person, runs all the big events (up to 200 people).
Some guy in Galway (can't remember his name and too lazy to look), runs reasonable sized events.
Then there's me and another guy who tend to run regular but very small (4-20 people) tournaments strictly in Dublin.
Think that's the jist of it.
The only shop that runs regular tournaments don't run official ones and really haven't a clue about the game other than to make a quick buck, as such they are losing attendance slowly.
So as you can see boycotting any of them can severely reduce your dueling opertunities.

Mmm... annoying

Weird... a time ago (1-2 years ago?) (don't know if it is still this way) the official UDE tournament organiser left the country. And at that very moment, the guys with a degree in tournament organising, had to organise tournaments without official help...

That was one true weird thing..
