With Dark World monsters being Side Decked, is it wise to use Morphing Jar? Sure it gives you 5 cards, but so does your opponent (unless you combo it with Protector of the Sanctuary). I was contemplating on removing it from my Elixir Deck because I ran it to replenish my hand when I am done to top Decking or using a certain card that drains my hand quick. What are your thoughts?

Depends on your strategy :D Also, often you won't get hit by a Dark Worlder, unless your opponent thinks you use such cards regurarly.

You have to play your style of play. If it works for your Deck, then you cant worry about your opponent having Dark World Monsters. Someone is going to have something you are going to run into that you dont like. Thats why you make a Side Deck.

Yeah but you can only Side Deck against so much. I use my Side Deck as a means for me to change the style of my Deck instead of worrying more about what opponent has or can do. Like I would not put a Dimension Fusion in my Side Deck just because my opponent will most likely have a splash Deck with all those D.D. monsters.

Is it wise to use Morphing Jar. Yes and No. You never know what cards youll get. Then again you could pull a Game ending 5 cards. True you give your opponent an advantage but they could get a worse hand. Its a bit of a Doulbe-Edged Sword.

It's more depend on your deck and when you use it.

Like people play Morphing Jar when their foe have 4 or 5 cards in their hand cause that way, the overall result is that they gained no extra cards and they also lost alot of cards in their hand. Also, try to dump alot of your key cards in your s/t zone so that you'll have like 1-2 cards and get 5 in your hand after Morphing Jar trigger or just plainly when you barely have cards. (Just fear your foe's use of MSlv2. Like on your first duel turn you set 1 monster and dump 3~4 cards in s/t zone so that you have 1-2 cards left in your hand, that usually tells your foe to think that you set Morphing Jar that they'll search for their MSlv2 if they have ROTA in their hand.)

Exactly, people need to learn to play before they play their cards, it was really funny watching people field BLS-EotBs so early way back, so many outs for a player if you play it that early.

As for Morphing Jar, I wouldn't play it in any deck that you expect to get a card advantage on your opponent effectively and consistently, same goes for Cyber Jar. So if you expect your deck to perform properly and get you cards in hand and you manage your hand properly, no need for Morphing Jar. (Flip Flop control comes to mind for me and so does Soul Control although thats disputable)

I personlly think it is a good card isn't a good card to have in your deck as it is to situasionial as you could get it when you have a larger hand then your oppenent or you could have a good hand setup and using Morphing Jar could ruin it for you.
