Mind control what does it do?

All it does is give you a possible clear attack at your opponents life points but thats all I can think of.

What is its use apart from that?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Unless you got a Deck to ultilize it, using the card by itself and taking a chance that your opponent may or may not have an FLIP effect you want, using it as a free way to direct attack seems like a waste in your Deck because you might as well use Smashing Ground to accomplish that job. So outside a Deck that where you use it to its fullest, it has no other use to ever be used.

Send to the graveyard does not necessarily mean tribute.

So cards like "Altar for Tribute" can use the controlled monster.

Also the monster can be targetted by effects taht specifically require a monster on your side of the field.

But most importantly is you can use the ignition effect of any card you take control of (As long as it's not something like "Exiled Force")
(BLS, Tribe, Breaker)

It can target face-down cards, (you can steal your opponent's flip effect monsters, particularly Magician of Faith)

The only way to get the most out of the card is to use it with cards that do not Tribute. Altar for Tribute for example would work, but then big deal. I rather Smashing Ground it. Sometimes, there are just cards that are so bad in the game that they cannot be used no matter how hard you want them to be. Mind Control belongs in a Deck that will benefit from it. Anywhere else is just not going to cut it unless you enjoy taking chances.

It still is pretty garbage on its own. If you could at least Tribute it for anything other than Tribute Summon or Set and still not attack I give it more of a shot. The Card of Sanctity is a nice scenario, but you still will be giving up essentially your field and whatever is in your hand at the time of activation. Late game sure, but how likely are you to have a good enough set up to benefit from it?

I was trying it in a WATER Deck that use Big Wave, Small Wave or whatever it is called when I had DNA Transplant out.

the first version of My Solitude deck used this card to the max, essentially this being way better than Brain Control. Reason for this is life. Blood has alot to do in this game so me not losing blood over it is much better.

not to mention TCG players love the whoel 2 for 1, so using a Brain Control to take away a creature and then tributing it is basically a 2 for 1 deal were you are losing more than you are gaining. Not the same problem when you play Mind Control becuase unlike Smashing Ground which CANT target face-down creatures this can and eventually give you more information than the opponent wants you to know about.

both cards are equal in pro and con there is no "brain is better than mind" defently not, but if you are the type that loves to hurt your self and waste more cards from your hand, then you know what to use, but if you like to just take stuff for free and eventually lose about the same amount of cards that brain could do, why not?

You didnt waste LP.

The last time you can use Brain Control is when you have 900 lp, and after this, it better win you the game. cause at 100 a defender can even kill you. While Mind you can be at 100 and eventually change the tide of the game some way some how.
