aww....dang...i was hoping that would be one of the new tin cards....i remember yugi used that in one episode....sweet effect.....
still..i wish it would be easier to get.... ...that would be UBER in a dragon deck......

OK, the first person to get me either A) a 150dpi scan of that card (not likely), or B) a really high quality and mostly straight digital photograph of the mega card gets a RONINâ„¢ T-Shirt courtesy of me.
That picture is too small, believe it or not. Even after perspective correction, it's no good.
Let me be clear: it's the first image I get that is good enough for me to crop out the artwork for our library, not necessarily the first one I get.
EDIT: New rule: I'm looking for the Ultra Rare foil, OR a common with that artwork. The Secret Rare printed in Japan doesn't count. The *preferred* thing here is a hi-res shot of that massive card they have in Indy.... that's what we did for Cyber-Stein.

Given the effect of the card, while not quite up to the BEUD hype, it's still an excellent prize to go for.

Wow, this subject has lit up some of the threads on the other boards. I'm not sure what their smoking over there, but I can't believe how many people are saying it sucks. I heard one person say that there are better Dragons. One person who said if your going to win something it should at least be playable. And one person who said it was the worst SJC card they could think of. What have they been smoking?
Looks to my like about ninety percent of these negative comments are coming from ChaosCookieCutterLovers. The remaing ten look like people who still can't seem to get over the fact it wasn't Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
I hope my friends here at City if Gamers can at least see the potential of this card and explor it's potential in thier deck construction (or in YVD since it looks like few of us will own one this year).

Hmmm.. I don't see anything in the policy about the size of the cards. If that sucker has an official back on it, AND you can get a sleeve to match the rest of your deck ....
It would be rather easy for your opponent to know when you have it in your hand, though. Suddenly everyone Deathjester plays main decks a pair of D. D. Designators ...
Although it doesn't live up to the "hype" of BEUD, I like this guy better anyway.
Killer effect with lots of potential and very solid stats, all wrapped up into an EARTH/Dragon. Guess what, other than this guy there are only 2 other EARTH/Dragons. And this is really the only "usable" one of the 3. (Crawling Dragon, and Two-Mouth Darkruler, in case you were wondering)
Unique effect with unique stats... very cool. And that art is freaking sweet too. Great promo.
Now if only I could get one...

I have always loved this card, and when it finally comes out, it's in a way in which I can't obtain it... ><!!

Alright so its des vosltgalph!?! whoop de doo! Its an alright card, but i doubt anyone would ever run it in a tourney deck. I wouldnt want it, if i won it, hello $$$$$$ on ebay!

I feel exactly like you do, DJ... IMO, Des Voltsgalph > Almost all tribute monsters. I don't understand why one wouldn't like it... I think it's really uesful, and dragons need some more support like this. There's just one problem--- how to get one... oO;;
You know what chaos general, it might end up being easier to get then we think. Look around at the other boards and look at how all these tourney players are talking aboout it only being worth selling. Their convincing the new players that its not worth a durn. So little by little they are working the cards value down. Between you and me (and the few thousand other memebrs ) we could probably get one for cheap on ebay.

As long as it's not $23,000, I'm fine. Unless it's higher than $25 --- that'd be my limit. (for any card, though, not just this one) (yes that limits me... lol) Seriously, that $23,000 Cyber-Stein was just ridiculous. oO;; (especially that it's a RARITY now...)
