Reviving Black Luster Soldier EOB

Many players revive Black Luster Soldier from the Graveyard. However the Cards summoning condition states that it can only be special summoned by removing 1 light and 1 dark monster from your graveyard.

So you cannot special summon BLS EOB from your graveyard using another method since the card does not allow any other method.

If you summon Black Lsuter Soldier through its effect and it is sent from the field to the graveyard you may certainly revive it with Monster Reborn.

Monster Reborn CAN summon Black Luster soldier- Envoy of the Beginning.

Monster that can not be special summoned from the graveyard say either:
"This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard."
or
"This card cannot be special summoned."
or
"This card cannot be special summoned except by "¦"

true some card have this text and they cannot be revived.

BUT!

Harpie lady sisters cannot be revived either and the text on this card says.

This monster can only be special summoned with the magic card "Elegant Egotist".

So I can special summon HLS with Monster Reborn?

Yes because Konami says. (This was on the Judgelist wasn't it ?)

If you use Solemn Judgement or Horn of Heaven to negate the summon, was BLS-EoTB correctly summoned in the first place and so can you reborn it from the graveyard? My guess would be not without returning it to the hand and resummoning it correctly but I just want to be sure.

Correct. Solemn/Horn negate the summon and BLS was never properly summoned to the field (so you can't reborn it in any way, not even with dimension fusion). You have to return it to your hand or deck and summon him again removing the monsters (hoping he won't get judged again :D)
