Serial Spell Question

Here's the card situation: Gilasaurus, Last Will, Serial Spell, Mystik Wok, X other cards. Can I do this?

Summon Gilasaurus
Play Last Will
Play Serial Spell
Chain Mystik Wok, targeting Gilasaurus

I'm not clear on when the remaining cards in hand have to be discarded for Serial Spell's effect. Does Wok have to be discarded before it can be chained, or does the discarding occur when Serial Spell resolves? If this doesn't work, is there an alternative order that does work? Obviously, the idea here is to use Mystik Wok to trigger Last Will's effect, while using Serial Spell as a second Last Will.

Discarding is the cost to activate Serial Spell so Mystik Wok would be discarded already. So basically if you want your scenario to work, you'd have to set Mystik Wok and then on your next turn go ahead and do this (since Mystik Wok would be chained from the field rather than your hand). But remember, you'd need at least 1 card to discard in order to activate Serial Spell.

what happens if you Serial Spell Graceful Charity? Do you draw 3 cards, discard your hand as a cost and only get one card. Its to confusing.

You would activate Graceful Charity, then when you activate Serial Spell, you discard your hand as the cost, so when you start to resolve the chain, you'll have no cards in hand. Then you draw 3 cards, discard 2, then draw 3 more cards and discard 2 more.
