Not that this is either newsworthy or interesting to anyone but me, but it's been a long time since we've actually had a COMPLETE set of images/artwork on netrep.net. It took forever to get a Raviel to scan in and the SOI-SE cards :D

If anyone sees any missing* out there (using netrep.net, not auto-linking), let me know. The database is 100% complete, so it would just be a repost of the JPEG.

* Either "NO IMAGE AVAILABLE" or a card image with a YGO logo instead of artwork. Make sure you clear your browser cache, too.

Good work. So am I to understand that the Netrepâ„¢ image database and the auto-linking database are not connected?

Oh yeah...

:woot_jedi

Wow. I kinda just got used to seeing a couple of yugioh backs while searching netrep. Still it helps for when im flicking through trades that people show me since i see the cards i want on netrep more than anywhere else. I look up their rulings to make sure i have them sussed out before i get them.

oh yeah..........

TOOK YA LONG ENOUGH!!!

*Runs away and hides before cheekiness gets him banned*

BANNED! Um, let's see ... how about a 0.2 second ban from netrep.net? Ooops ... ban over already just by reading this!

:D

In all seriousness, while I do try to keep things as up to date as possible, it does take some time to acquire the actual cards on occasion and make the images 'right'. You're always welcome to ping me if you see some bum images out there, especially if they're not extremely new cards. For example, if you find something from The Lost Millenium that's not up to snuff by now, that's certainly an error!

Usually, I get the cards pretty quick, but not always. Raviel (SOI-EN003) is a classic example.

You'd never get in trouble for pointing out shortcomings in our data. Ever. If it's something we didn't know, you'll even get propz in the database update thread!

by placing the card on my scanner and pressing the SCAN button. :ninja:

(Just like the other 3,520 cards -- skey23 did the first 60 EENs for me)

That was, without question, THE MOST ingenius plan I have ever seen you come up with ... and that's saying a LOT. :D

It's not my fault, honest. The original thread message made it seem like there was some epoch tale of your quest to get this image. I thought there'd be more of a story. What a let down! :dj_mad

LOL all around.

I think this thread has taken it's usual dive into anarchy ... let's butcher it up even further and switch topics:

Q: What lengths have you had to go through to get a specific card in the past?

My personal answer is ... not much. Usually just a waiting game for a decent price on eBay. I can't recall any cards being extremely difficult to get. Even the PCY-004/005 cards (OK, so they're "E"s) were gotten in trade for a few thousand commons....

My answer to your question..... There was this guy who had this card see..... I didnt like him but i liked the card............ I have a dark secret..........

Anyway i have no life and will root around netrep until i find a problem.

Other than the annoying thing of the dropdown advanced section scrolling on me when its supposed to be closed.

djp, perhaps you could point me in the direction I need. I have been looking in vain for the text and a quality image of Xexex. Any chance you have THAT one lying around?

Hmmm... can't help you there. As a matter of fact, here is the list of cards we DON'T have actual scans of (current as of today). I'd be willing to barter a pretty nice deal for anyone that can provide me with 150dpi or better, and perfectly straight, scans of these cards in lossless .BMP format. Or even more ideally, willing to send them to Maryland (on my dime and insurance) for scanning:

ENGLISH
-------
EP1-EN000 Card of Sanctity
SJC-EN001 Cyber-Stein
SJC-EN002 Des Volstgalph
WCS-EN401 Ulevo
WCS-EN402 Meteo the Matchless
WCS-EN501 King of Destruction - Xexex
WCS-EN502 Queen of Fate - Eternia

ASIAN ENGLISH
-------------
WCS-001 Kanan the Swordmistress
WCS-AE503 Firewing Pegasus

edit: One could also infer from this list what cards I don't personally own, too. Yeah, I've got tooooo many.

I do have the text/stats for him, though:

King of Destruction - Xexex
Effect Monster (Fiend / DARK / 10 Stars / ATK 3000 / DEF 2500)

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card must be Tribute Summoned by Tributing 3 Fiend-Type monsters on your side of the field. If this card attacks your opponent's Life Points directly and makes them 0, the controller of this card wins the Match.

Thank you. That's a start. The straight on pictures are a beast, I admit. So many places just shoot at an angle.

let me look through my files. I may have a source for Kanan, Mateo, Ulevo, ect

I just have to doublecheck the size quality. I know you guys must have pretty large file requirements for the sizes you post.

btw: do you know the serial extension for Xexex? I know it doesn't have a serial #, but is it WC-? or something else?

WCS-EN501 King of Destruction - Xexex

Passcode = "This card cannot be used in a duel."
